Groove baby, groove!

4 exciting pieces of news:

#1. Every year LSU holds a giant outdoor concert and gets some big acts from around the country to come rock out at their parade grounds with ferris wheels and vendors and all sorts of magical fun. Its a free show and usually draws a big crowd. This event is known as "Groovin' on the Grounds".
As the fates would have it, this year Fay Wray is gonna be rocking out at Groovin of the Grounds, opening up for Chevelle and Mark Broussard, because we won the Battle of the Bands at LSU back in October. This means we're going to be playing in front of easily the biggest crowd we've ever played for, with somewhere over a thousand people attending.
Just a year ago we were straggling along, trying to get our act together with displaced band members and infrequent gigs, so its really exciting to have come so far. Thanks to all our boys and girls out there for keeping the faith.
Groovin' is this Friday, April 20th, and we're playing at around 6pm. We'd love to have some of our New Orleans hommies there to rock out and party with us afterward.

#2. Fay Wray going to Chicago this summer!
All five of us are gonna be chilling in Chicago this summer, keeping it real, seeing the sites, recording our new album "Tug Love" and trying to get some gigs. Chicago is a really cool city, so it'll be really great chance for us to work on our music, cook up some BBQ in Pat's back yard (Pat is a Chicagoland native) and try our luck in the Windy City.
If any of y'all are gonna be in Chicago this summer, keep in touch with us and we'll definitely hang out. We roll out in a month.

#3. We're going to try and shoot a video for "Ill Tempered Comments" before we roll out to Chicago, and I just wanted to call out to our fans of the female persuasion in New Orleans to see if any of y'all might be interested in being our video?
For part of the video we need some ladies who might be willing to lip synch to the lyrics of the song. Its really as simple as that. Nothing salacious or edgy, just good wholesome lipsynching fun. It'd be a great opportunity for anyone looking to unleash their inner lead singer of Fay Wray.
I was hoping to edit quickly between a whole series of girls lipsynching the song, so I'll need to get together about 10 or 15 of y'all that might be interested.
If you think you might be down, shoot me over an email at FayWrayBand@gmail.com.

#4. I think I might sense a house party coming on, somewhere in the next few weeks...
