Two greats shows and Weekend Plans

Hey there!I just wanted to thank everybody for coming out this past weekend and seeing us. We played two shows, one in New Orleans at the Hi Ho Lounge and one in Covington at the Green Room and both went really great.
The Hi Ho is always a great place to play and Saturday was no exception. It was the one year anniversary of the reopening of the club, which was cool because we played there at their grand opening a year ago. In the past year they got themselves a real piano too, so I got the chance to bang out some Fay Wray on an acoustic keyboard. (No digital keyboard can replicate the feeling of those hammers hitting the strings). The surprise performance by "Team Hasselhoff" threw me off a little, but Nomadic Soul played a great set, and y'all getting down out there in the crowd made it an obscenely fun show.
The following night we boogied across the lake to Covington to play the Green Room for the Ozone Film Festival after party. Great films. Great bar. Great crowd. Another rousing success story for Fay Wray! Thanks to everyone who was out there dancing and to everyone who bought CDs! We love you, Covington.

So now we're getting a little time off. This weekend I'm going to the fly with some beer and a po boy, and I plan to aggressively take it easy. If anyone care to join me, you're more than welcome. Weather permitting, I should be out there Saturday afternoon (and probably Sunday afternoon too). Come on by and we'll have a party.
Much Love,
Kevin
